Terms of Service

Klippo turns long videos into short vertical clips and posts them to social media accounts you connect. These terms apply to everyone who uses it.
Your account
- Klippo is invite-only at the moment. We may decline or withdraw access.
- You need a verified email address, and you are responsible for what happens under your sign-in.
- You can delete your account, and everything in it, at any time from Settings.
Your content
- Only submit videos you own or have permission to use. You confirm this each time you submit a video, and we keep a record of that confirmation.
- You are responsible for what is posted to your accounts, including captions and hashtags, and for following each platform's terms and community guidelines.
- You keep all rights in your videos and clips. You give Klippo permission to store, process and publish them only as needed to provide the service to you.
- Klippo only posts clips you have approved (unless you turn approval off for an account), to accounts you have connected.
What you must not do
- Submit or post content that infringes someone else's rights, or that is unlawful.
- Use Klippo to spam, mislead, or get around a platform's rules or limits.
- Try to access other people's data, or interfere with the service.
We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these terms, including after a valid copyright complaint.
Connected accounts
By connecting a social account you allow Klippo to post approved clips to it on your behalf. You can disconnect at any time in Klippo or in the platform's own settings. How your data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.
Klippo uses YouTube API Services to upload to YouTube. By connecting a YouTube channel you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. For TikTok, you choose how each account's posts are made (who can see them, and whether comments, duets and stitches are allowed) before anything is posted.
Limits and price
Klippo is free during the beta, with limits on accounts, videos and minutes of video per month that are shown in the app. We will give notice before introducing paid plans; you will never be charged without agreeing to it.
Availability
Klippo is provided as is, without warranties. It depends on third-party services (Google Cloud, Anthropic, and the platforms you post to) and may be changed, interrupted or discontinued. Platforms may limit, delay or refuse posts, and we cannot guarantee that any clip is published. Links to videos on other sites may stop working; uploading the file is always available.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of Klippo, including posts that fail, are removed by a platform, or are published at a different time than planned. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date above shows the latest version, and we will tell you in the app about changes that matter.
