What you get from a Twitch stream
No clipping by hand
Twitch's own clips need someone to press the button at the right second. Klippo decides what is worth clipping by listening to the stream.
Vertical, with captions
Twitch clips keep the wide shape of the stream. These are reframed to 9:16, following your face or keeping the whole game screen, with word-by-word captions.
Long streams are fine
It stays with your stream for up to five and a half hours, pacing clips to the number an hour you asked for.
Your channel link is enough
Paste your channel's address while you are live. There is no extension, no bot in your chat and nothing to authorise on Twitch.
Twitch clipping questions
- How do I make clips from a Twitch live stream?
- Start your Twitch stream, paste its link into Klippo and confirm it's yours to use. Klippo follows the stream as it airs and puts captioned vertical clips in your queue every few minutes.
- How is this different from Twitch's own clips?
- Twitch clips are made by hand, by you or your viewers, and stay in the stream's wide shape. Klippo finds the moments by itself and makes vertical clips with captions burned in, sized for TikTok, Reels and Shorts.
- How soon after a moment is the Twitch clip ready?
- Usually between three and nine minutes, while the stream is still on. Klippo checks the newest part of the stream every five minutes.
- How many clips will I get?
- As many as you ask for. You set a number of clips an hour, six by default, and Klippo keeps the best moments within it, so a busy stream doesn't bury you in clips.
Stream somewhere else too?
